Ongoing Care

Providing regular maintenance services tailored to wildlife gardens, focusing on ecological principles as well as aesthetic ones. This can include selective pruning, weeding, hedge trimming, pond care, feeding and seasonal planting to ensure the garden continues to thrive as a wildlife haven. Obviously, we don't use pesticides and will not disturb nesting birds.

Planting Design & Installation

Creating bespoke planting plans focused on incorporating indigenous plant species that provide essential food, shelter, and breeding sites for local wildlife. This service includes sourcing and installing appropriate trees, shrubs, perennials, and groundcovers that thrive in your specific climate and soil, promoting a healthy ecosystem.

Pollinator Paradise Creation

Specialised design and implementation of gardens aimed at attracting and supporting bees, butterflies, hoverflies, and other vital pollinators. This involves selecting a diverse range of nectar and pollen-rich plants with staggered blooming times, ensuring a continuous food source throughout the seasons.

Water Feature & Pond Creation

Designing and building naturalistic ponds, bog gardens, and other water features that offer drinking sources, bathing spots, and breeding habitats for amphibians, insects, and birds. Services can range from small bird baths to larger, biodiverse ponds.

Habitat & Shelter Solutions

Installation of various elements to provide safe havens for wildlife, such as insect hotels, log piles, rockeries, bird boxes, bat boxes, and hedgehog houses. These structures offer crucial roosting, nesting, and hibernation sites, increasing the garden's capacity to host diverse species

Wildlife-Friendly Lawn Management

Transforming traditional lawns into more ecologically diverse spaces through practices like reduced mowing, creating wildflower meadows, or incorporating clover and other low-growing, beneficial plants. This provides additional foraging areas and habitat for insects and small mammals

Workshops & Consultations

Offering personalised consultations and workshops to help clients understand the principles of wildlife gardening and empower them to maintain their biodiverse spaces effectively. This service focuses on sharing knowledge and fostering a deeper appreciation for nature

 Reviews

Rachel, Peacehaven

James has a Can Do attitude combined with a good knowledge of plants and horticulture experience. He made a dividing angle between my lawn and garden beds and advised which tools to get to keep the lawn separate from the beds. He has a calm manner and just gets on with the job with no fuss. He has done weeding for me too and treats plants with respect. I’m really happy to have found James and highly recommend him.

Neil, Hove

James is excellent. He has good knowledge and does a great job of maintaining our garden. In an industry where we’ve found it not always to be the case, he is super reliable. He turns up when he says he will and works hard. Highly recommended.

Phil, Hove

Super impressed with how great my gardens looks now! Would highly recommend! Thanks again James
